About Me
My name is Aubrey(she/her), owner of Only Sky Studios, based in the foothills of North Carolina. Hopefully you have enjoyed exploring my work, so please allow me to tell you a little about myself and my photography approach. After all, unlike the DJ or caterer, I am going to be following you and your friends around the whole day. For most of your wedding day I will be quietly observing interactions so that I don't miss special moments.
There is a natural progression of events and while we will be working off a set timeline, I am flexible enough to handle shifts and unexpected changes. I view the world through feelings and experiences, so I am always exploring ways to show emotions in photos. I want couples to feel free to express authentic reactions and be themselves.
It is my pleasure to meet with new couples and discuss visions and ideas for your wedding. My mission is to listen to your ideas and make them a reality. Some weddings are full of energy and lively guests, while others are more tranquil and intimate. It is my responsibility to tell your story accurately and authentically. Your wedding is a reflection of who you are as a couple and I strive to capture that energy. When you reminisce upon your big day, my desire is that your personalities shine through in your photos.
